The unethical practice of replicating someone else’s earlier concepts, procedures, outputs, or language without giving due credit to the original author and source is known as plagiarism. When an author uses a significant portion of their own previously published work without properly citing it, it is known as self-plagiarism. This can involve changing a previously published manuscript with some new information or getting the same material published in several journals.
Any sort of plagiarism or unethical copying is strictly prohibited by the journal. When significant sections of a paper are taken verbatim from already available sources, it is considered plagiarism. Eureka Vison uses Turnitin software to cross-check all manuscripts submitted for publication for plagiarism. If plagiarism is discovered in a manuscript during the first review phase, it is immediately rejected and will not be considered for publication in the journal. The Editor-in-Chief will carry out an initial investigation if a manuscript is discovered to include plagiarism after it has been published, sometimes with the assistance of a committee that has been established specifically for that reason. The journal will get in touch with the author’s institute, college, university, and funding agency if the submission is discovered to contain more plagiarism than is permitted.
If misbehaviour is found, Eureka Vison will publish a statement that is bi-directionally linked online to and from the original publication, pointing out the plagiarism and citing the copied content. On every page of the PDF, the paper that contains the plagiarism will also be flagged. The paper may also be formally retracted when the plagiarism degree has been determined.
